So, we began Peppermint Saga: Blue Gray Rhapsody at last. has "loaned" us his OC, Willow, to be our first guinea pig. This is as much an experiment for me in collaborative writing/illustrating as anything, so bear with me. Additionally, I am experimenting with new tools. I chickened out and drew the latest page by hand on paper with blue pencil, but I took the plunge and inked it digitally. I am very impressed with the results and have figured out a trick or two to make the process go faster. We'll see if I can keep it up.

The second matter, which is related to the first goes like this: no, this is not a reboot or a retcon. BGR is a separate entity. It features characters that RESEMBLE the originals, but have anywhere from subtle, to SERIOUS differences in personalities and tastes. (and sometimes morality, too) Some people will like this change, others may be turned off by it. But sometimes that's the price of having your OC paired up OOC with mine.

Do you have a recognizable OC that you've considered putting into a hentai comic? I'm putting a feeler out there to all the pinup/hentai comic artists here on DA that if they want to get in on this action, I have nothing but free time to give to you, it seems. Here's the lowdown:

About 2 years and 14 days ago, I began a comic series called "Peppermint Saga". Back in February, drew a wonderful tribute to my series.

I was so amused and entranced by the gesture, I decided to start a "OC Cameo" comic. Originally, I had 4 commitments, but now I kinda have 1 and a half. The premise being: pinup artists and watchers with a recognizable OC here or on FA or Hentai-Foundry could "apply" to have me write a short story (5-15 pages max) involving an encounter between their OC and Peppermint in a "non-canon" sense. (I leave how "canon" the encounter is for YOU and YOUR character up to you, btw.) So "Blue-Gray Rhapsody" was born. (It's a Project A-Ko reference. Did you know A-Ko was supposed to be porn, originally? No shit.)

Anyway, putting the feeler out there to see if anyone "internet famous" here on DA or elsewhere wishes to participate. Update schedule is 1x a week on Saturday, and I have 26 pages plotted so far across two artists and a third on the way. The comic is HARDCORE NSFW HENTAI NO HOLDS BARRED. Peppermint has no problems with any gender and will even do herm and/or furry characters under the right circumstances (like, hygiene is a plus... 4 realz, guise.) No scat, no bestiality, and no pedo, though. (I think that may go without saying, but I've been around to a few forums...)

So wow! I updated TWO things this week!

Cosmic Feline: "Surrender" is a collaboration between me, and .

Basically, Kim write the story a loooong time ago, and together we adapted it for use in Starship Moonhawk/CF context. Then EviktedRei came along and arted it up all nice and purdy, and I came back when all was said and done to color the living shit out of it. Oh yes, color the living shit out of it I did, folks. the results can take from one to two weeks for me to accomplish the precise look and "mood" I want for the scene. Also, there's no actual light sourcing direction from the script or the artwork itself, so I am winging it. Hopefully, it is not an offense to the eyes.
