Keith once again hit the nail on the head. Rose's half-sister, and another half-vampire, just like Rose's daughter Darlene. I was quite pleased how "on-model" Keith's interpretation was, and will be. Azrael is the "dark horse" character of this series. She's spent her considerable lifetime honing her skills to razor sharpness so she can hunt down and destroy the rouge elements of "the Veil" that plague humanity. This is especially important to her as she is a child of violence, unlike her niece Darlene, who is a child of love. She and Rose are extremely close in spite of the startling age difference between them.
